Sliced Image
Bark
This picture is comprised of two different types of bark on separate trees taken with two different lenses. The first photo was taken using a macro as opposed to the second which used a telephoto focus lens. I placed the pictures perpendicular to each other to increase the contrast between the texture of the two. The sliced panels serve to create a window to view the texture of these tress as one is clear and easy to view while the other fades out of focus.
Linked Flower
Two flowers, a daffodil and a crocus have been combined into one image. These flowers only appear for a short time during the start of spring. I merged these two flowers together in an attempt to capture the essence of spring. The vibrant colors and contrast of these flowers capture a vital component of the revival that spring brings after the ravages of winter.
